Wishstack

What is Wishstack?

Wishstack is Product Hunt flipped. Product Hunt ranks products that already exist. Wishstack ranks demand — the problems people actually want solved, and would pay to have solved.

It runs on one simple loop:

  • Someone posts a wish — an app, tool, or feature they wish existed.
  • Other people back it — a one-click “I’d pay for this too.”
  • A maker claims and ships it — with a list of backers already waiting.

No mockups, no pitch decks. Just a sentence describing the thing you wish someone would build, and a count of how many people want it.

The problem it solves

Most products fail for the same reason: they get built before anyone confirms the demand. Makers spend months guessing, launch to silence, and move on.

Meanwhile, plenty of people hit the same annoying problem every week and would gladly pay for a fix — but they have nowhere to say so. The demand is real; it’s just invisible.

Wishstack makes that demand visible before anyone writes code. A wish with 200 backers is a signal you can’t get from a landing page. For the person who posted it, it’s a way to nudge the thing they want into existence. For the maker who builds it, it’s validation and a first batch of users on day one.

Who it’s for

Indie hackers and solo founders who want to build things people already want — ideas that come with proof of demand and early adopters attached, instead of a blank page and a hunch.

Anyone with an itch — the people duct-taping spreadsheets, juggling five tools, or muttering “why doesn’t this exist yet?” Post the wish, and let the crowd (and a maker) take it from there.
