Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
This policy explains what Wishstack collects, why, and what you can do about it. It’s written in plain language and kept deliberately short.
What we collect
- Account info. When you sign in, we store your email address. If you sign in with X, we also receive your public profile (name, handle, avatar).
- Your content. The wishes, comments, votes, and profile details (handle, bio) you add to Wishstack.
- Usage data. Standard server logs and aggregate analytics that help us keep the site running.
We don’t sell your data, and we don’t run third-party ad trackers.
How we use it
- To run the core product: showing your wishes, counting backers, and attributing what you post.
- To send the emails you ask for, like the weekly digest. You can turn these off in settings anytime.
- To keep the platform safe — spotting abuse, spam, and breakage.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to operate Wishstack:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage.
- Resend — sending email (magic links and digests).
- Vercel — hosting.
These providers process data on our behalf, under their own security and privacy terms, and only as needed to run the service.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in. That’s it — no advertising cookies.
Your choices
- Edit your profile or change email preferences in settings.
- Want a copy of your data, or want your account deleted? Email us and we’ll take care of it.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information, though anonymized or aggregated data may remain.
Children
Wishstack isn’t intended for anyone under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, give you a heads-up.
